Commemorating Swami Vivekananda 150th year Birth celebrations ‘Run for the Nation – Mass Run event was organized all over the country. In Chennai, the event was inaugurated by Serial/Cine fame Kutti Padmini. Sri Gautamananda, President of Sri Ramakrishna Mutt Chennai blessed the event, Mayor Saidai Duraiswamy, Chennai Corporation presided over the event. VHP State leader R B V S Manian highlighted on the importance of Swami ji’s speech at Chicago.
‘Bharat Doud’ was organized in all district headquarters of Tamilnadu. In Krishnagiri around 2500 people participated. In Erode around 2800 people participated. In Pondicherry around 3750 persons participated in the Mass Run.
