ABVP protests against corruption, ‘Bandh’ observed in 2786 Colleges in Karnataka
Bangalore, 4th September: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and the Youth Against Corruption (YAC) have jointly protested and observed a national-level college bandh on Tuesday demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the wake of the alleged coal block allocation controversy.
In Karnataka, the Bandh happened in 300 places, Total 2786 colleges were closed and supported the cause. 6,00,000 students participated in protests state wide.
