People of TN are witnessing the rise of anti-national / anti-Hindu forces for the past 6 months, ever since this present dispensation in the State took over the reins in May 2021. In addition to the open support and patronage extended by the ruling party to these anti-Hindu forces, the common public, to their shock and surprise see sudden spurt in the nefarious activities of the Xtian conversion mafia in augmenting their plans to evangalise TN.
The Justice Party, which is the epicentre of the evil Dravidian ideology plaguing this State for around a century now, played second fiddle to the British oppressors and spread canards about Sanatana Dharmic thoughts and practices for their cheap monetary gains. Following the Justice Party’s footsteps, the DK and then DMK aligned with the conversion mafia and echo their voice in full glare.
Appropriation (or rather mis-appropriation) is the age old tactics adopted by the missionaries worldwide to spread Xtianity in various countries and they were trying to apply the same tactics here in Bharat as well. Right from (mis)appropriating Mangal Sutra to Saffron robes to Rudraksh to Trishul to Rath Yatra to Flag Post to usage of phrases like “poosari”, “aalayam”, “poojai”, “prarthanai” etc., to mislead Hindus and lure them to conversion. The Dravidian parties overtly and covertly supported this and in fact helped the missionary mafia to further their gains.
In their (mis)appropriation gameplan, the missionary mafia laid their evil eyes on the traditional Tamizh literature, Tamizh scholars and Tamizh history. Hindus of TN have been seeing videos in circulation of missionary mafia trying to appropriate “Saivam” and “Vaishnavam” as off-shoots of xtianity and taint the references of Siva and Vishnu in the Tamizh literature to suit their evil design.
Thiruvalluvar, one of the ancient Hindu Poet Saints from TN and who is renowned world over for his masterpiece Thirukkural, did not escape the fangs of conversion mafia. The recent utterances by Thirumavalavan on November 5, 2021 in Chennai in a function organized at Madras Theological Seminary & College, Chennai is another step towards this.
According to Thirumavalavan, Thiruvalluvar (who lived atleast 300 years earlier to the alleged birth of Jesus Christ) got baptized and wrote Thirukkural after initiated into xtianity. Thirumavalavan also remarked that the term “Kapaleeswara” to denote Lord Shiva is actually a xtian term which was used to denote Jesus Christ. As per him, the hill top in which Jesus was allegedly crucified was filled with skull and hence Jesus was referred to as “Kapaleeswara”. The humour continues. Thirumavalavan further remarked that the Nataraja dance in which Lord Shiva dances over the evil spirit is to denote Jesus’ victory over evil. In addition, his half-baked knowledge on 108 Divya Desam, Shiva Temples, Azhwars and Nayanmars were on full display during his rant in that event.
The common public of TN are well aware of the “expertise” of Thirumavalavan in various recent issues like “GST”, “Powers of Governor” and “Reservation” and were bursting with laughter after listening to his speeches / interviews in various TV channels. One wonders, whether the person who possess such a shallow knowledge on recent issues of 5 years to 75 years has any locus-standi or intellectual capacity to talk about the ancient Tamizh Literature, Tamizh Scholars and Tamizh culture, which dates back to centuries.
While the rant of Thirumavalavan can be rejected as churlish just to play to the gallery and prove his worth, the force behind this campaign has to be dealt with seriously. The Hindus of TN have to have a careful watch on the moves by these missionary vultures and nip the “misappropriation campaign” in its budding stage. As such the Hindus of TN have lost much in terms of their rights and privileges and are literally at the mercy of the ruling dispensation. The Hindu temple mismanagement and day robbery of Hindu temples in TN is shining example to this.
Will the Hindus of TN rise up to the occasion and oppose another sinister design of “misappropriation” of their culture, heritage and character by anti-Hindu forces ? Hindus should.
