RSS Chennai celebrated
its yearly Rakshaa Bandhan festival at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Chennai on August
29. Shri Haridass, Secretary to D G Vaishnava College in his presidential
speech highlighted on the tradition of Raksha Bandhan in our country. Shri Gangai Amaran, famous cine musician in
his special address felt on how the society is separated and divided today and emphasized
on the need of the culture to be protected.
Shri Su Viswanathan, Sah Sampark Pramuk stressed on the unity in
diversity and elucidated how uniformity practiced by western society be a
danger for national integrity. He
appealed everyone to be leaders of change and instruments of change. Shri Raghavan, Sambhag Karyavah welcomed the
gathering. Shri Gopalakrishnan, Vibhag
Karyavah (S.Chennai) co-ordinated the programme. Shri Kalyan Singh, Sambhag Sanghachalak were
on the dais. The function concluded by tying Rakhi by the persons gathered in the function and Sangh Prarthana.
