150th Birth year celebrations of Swami Vivekananda was held at Chengalput wherein around 1750 youth participated in the Mass Run. District committee secretary S D Ukkamchand presided over the function along with Industrialist M S Jain. E Lion Mahesh welcomed the gathering and Ko.P.Anbhazagan flagged off the event. Swami Aksharatmaananda Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mutt blessed the event. District secretary Swaminathan coordinated the event and Amarneethi delivered the vote of thanks.

In Erode not deputy Collector. Collector Sri.Shanmugam IAS, Mayor Smt.Mallika Oaramasivam, Fy Mayor Sri.Palanisami, Dist. Sport Officer, and Sri.N.Muthusamy addressed the gathering.
Salem Mass Run
In Attur (salem) around 165 people gathered. DSP Siva.Velliyppan flagged off. Nehru Yuva Kendra Dist. Youth Coordinator Shri. J.Sampathkumar, Paavender Education institution vice chairman shri.Subramani and other VIPs also participated.
Thanjavur Mass Run
In Thanjavur, around 720 youths participated in the run. DSP Arjunan presided over the event.
