RSS Sarsanghachalak Mohan Bhagawat inaugurated the 3 day top RSS national annual meet at Bhaskareeyam, Elammakara, Kochi.
After the inauguration ceremony, Sangh paid condolences to its veteran leaders and eminent personalities in various fields who passed away during the last six months. Notable among them being Rajani Rai, (former Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry), Sivanthi Adithan, (politician, minister and founder of the Tamil Daily Newspaper Daily Thanthi), Auditor Ramesh, BJP Tamilnadu State Unit General Secretary, Sri Vellaiyappan, Hindu Munnani (one of the State Secretary), Lalgudi Gopala Iyer Jayaraman, (Carnatic violinist), Prathivadi Bhayankara Sreenivas (veteran playback singer) and host of others.
