Tamilnadu-born Vishwanathan Anand, Bharat’s youngest and first Grandmaster, is today a multiple Chess Oscar winner; he won the World Chess Championship for the fifth time beating Boris Gelfand of Israel. His demeanor in itself is a tribute to Bharat as much as his world titles are. Sataranj (Chaturang) is a mind game given to the world by Ancient Bharat. This mind-game should be encouraged at village level also.
