Recently, Madras High Court Justice S Vaidyanthan in a case ruling on sexual harassment said, “There is general feeling among parents of students, especially female students, that co-educational studies in Christian institutions is highly unsafe for the future of their children”. To add, one more example speaks from Chennai.
Few chat messages with students with Sam Jaisunder (Department Secretary), Albert (Field Staff) and Reuben Clement (Field Staff) of the Scripture Union recently exposed the child abusing sexual assault.
In a shocking turn of events, children from different schools have come up with evidences as Mr. Joel Giftson exposed the child abusing sexual predator Sam Jaisunder which has unfolded many other employees in the same Christian missionaries who go to other Christian missionary schools to preach the bible. And then the flooding of posts of different school children sharing their experiences with whatever evidences they had in hand.
It silently started earlier this year with complaint to the Chennai Commissioner showing that the father of a 19-year-old had approached the organisation as early as August this year, alleging that Samuel Jaisunder had sent his daughter unacceptable text messages on social media.
Scripture Union, an organization promoting Bible studies had claimed to a media house that they learnt of the preachers’ inappropriate behaviour only over the weekend after Twitter user @joelgiftson17 posted a thread. However, the complaint to the Chennai Commissioner shows that the father of a 19-year-old had approached the organisation as early as August this year, alleging that Samuel Jaisunder had sent his daughter unacceptable text messages on social media.
The case has been registered under sections, 354(A) and 67(A) of the Information and Technology Act along with Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. Meanwhile, the two preachers have been suspended from Scripture Union.
But look at some disturbing Q&A section from a Christian website, called the Christian messenger with the page titled “Did Scripture Union hush up complaints? Interview with Joshua Kirubaraj”
So, it looks like just another case, for the organisation head of the Scripture Union. And its surprising that missionary schools have not come up with police complaint. This shows their tight-lipped thinking that their Christian communities are enough to bring law and order and there is no need of police structure after all it’s a sin that can be forgiven in a strict way by suspending.
The reason for such activities shows that there is no strict way that can prevent such perverts with or without the management notice. And children’s life, mental health, doesn’t fit into the matter as their agenda is only to spread the world if the bible and prayers.
Piyush Manush has come up with a video listing the all the children and schools that he has been informed, some directly and asks schools to come forward to put public apology to parents as well as strongly a case over such perverts but I think it goes down all to deaf ears.

Montford and sacred heart school erkad, St.Joseph school hosur, thiruvall kerala-mtrs school. And also shared a victim Balaram Vishnu Subramani, as he has also been a victim alumnus among the present count of 74 victims who have stated and come forward.
Singer Chinmayi has been actively tweeting information related to such students who has given their messages related to such perverts.
These incidents show that people can break through the chains of religion when it comes to humanitarian crises and hope of good people are never lost.
