The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested three suspected terrorists identified as Khaja Moideen, Syed Ali Navas and Abdul Samad who were radicalised by ISIS module.

Arrest came after the TamilNadu Police busted an inter-state ‘jihadi’ module with nationwide attack plans. The Tamilnadu based ‘jihadi’ module with links to a similar group was planning to carry out nationwide attacks, police said.
Inputs gathered by the intelligence wing of Tamil Nadu police revealed that “a few notorious fundamentalist elements are making preparation to wage jihad at various parts of the country and (they) have disappeared” from the state in the third week of last month, a police release said.
Six men -Khaja Moideen, Syed Ali Nawaz, Abdul Samad, Abdul Shameem, Thowfiq and Jaffar Ali are involved in the plot, allege Delhi police.
It is to be noted that Khaja Moideen was arrested in Cuddalore in 2004, for allegedly organizing a training camp at Nellikuppam where conversion was organized and men were trained in handling weapons and martial arts. He is also associated with Haja Fakkruddin, Cuddalore, first man from Tamilnadu who is believed to have joined IS after quitting his job in Singapore.
Recently Special Sub Inspector Wilson of Marthandam was shot three rounds with a pistol, who succumbed to death. Tamilnadu police is reported to have confirmed that the main suspects are two men from Kanyakumari, Abdul Shameem and Thoufeeq Yusuf against whom the NIA have issued look out notices.
Police sources said that Abdul Shameem was involved in the murder of K P Suresh Kumar, Hindu Munnani in June 2014 and Thoufeeq Yusuf as an accused in a case relating to the attempted murder of BJP leader-M R Gandhi in Kanyakumari district in 2017.
