Harshini, a growing Sevika and from Sangh family, secured silver medal in Commonwealth Championship in under 16/Girls category held from 31st July to 6th August at Srilanka. Harshini is the title winner of Tamilnadu State Chess Women Championship held from 11th May to 15th May at Thiruvarur. She is also the title winner of National Schools Chess Championship in under 14/Girls category from 5th to 7th January held at Nagpur. Harshini will be representing India in under 15/Girls category in the upcoming World Schools Chess Championship to be held at Russia, December 2016.
