assist educational help to the needy children in and around Chennai was
organized in ‘Shakthi Karyalaya’ by Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samiti along with other

It all started ten
years back when the sons of the retired railway official entrusting
‘Dr.Hedgewar Smarak Samiti’ an RSS affiliate with the task of selecting needy
candidates. The family of the railway official had deposited a tidy sum,
being the retirement benefits of the official with the trust for this purpose.
Now along with the trust, Bharati Seva Sangam, Smt Annammal Vivekananda Public
Charitable Trust, Jana Seva Trust, Madhava Seva Samiti and Samooga Seva Nidhi
Tamilnadu extended their help in serving the needy.

change/growth in the society. Students
should lead their life with courage and vision and serve their Mother, Mother
tongue and Motherland”, he said. Shri
Arangeswaran, Assistant Engineer, Tamilnadu Electricity Board, Egmore motivated
the children to work for the nation’s development. Shri M N Sundar, State Organiser Akhil
Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat (ABGP) said that it is the students’ life is the
important phase to move ahead with right source of inspiration. Around 80
students who topped in their School were rewarded with a nominal Cash assistance.
