Netaji Waterbodies Preservation Forum felicitated around 100 conservancy workers living near Chitlapakkam, Chennai today. Celebrating Yugadhi with conservancy workers, a programme was organized to felicitate them with a shawl to honour their work. Sevabharati volunteers honoured them with Sarees and Dhotis.
Chartered Accountant Mr.Sivagurunathan, Retd. Head Master and Best Teacher Awardee Mr.Mani, Entrepreneur and Sevabharathi functionary Mr. Venkata Subramani, Social Activist Mr.Viswanathan, General Secretary of Muthulakshmi Nagar Welfare Association Mr. Kannan, were among the chief guests. Many volunteers and public took part in the event. All the participants took pledge to keep the surroundings clean and also to preserve our environment.
Mr. P. Santhanam, Convenor of Netaji Waterbodies Preservation Forum, Coordinator Mr.Suresh and their team had organized the programme.
