SC, ST & OBC must continue to receive the reservation based on the constitution, as agreed – this is the view of RSS. Till the time differentiation in the Hindu Community based on caste continues, reservation is necessary. This view of Sangha has been clarified many times. Reservation based on religion to the minority communities is not allowed by the Constitution and is not right either. Both these subjects are different. Kindly do not create confusion by joining these two different subjects.

Attempts are being made to create unnecessary controversy over some remarks made by Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat ji in his speech at a programme in Delhi. Highlighting the importance of resolving all issues in the society through cordial dialogue he had called upon everyone to exchange views on a sensitive issue like Reservation. As far as RSS is concerned, it has spelled it’s stand many times that it completely stands for reservation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs and economically backward.
