Rahul Gandhi should not have resorted to wholesale denunciation of RSS, Supreme Court observes.

A Complaint was filed against Sri Rahul Gandhi, Vice President of Indian National Congress, for his speech blaming RSS for assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, at village Sonale near Bhiwandi, District Thane, Maharashtra on 6th March 2014. 
RSS local functionary in Bhiwandi had filed defamation case against Rahul Gandhi for his false, defamatory remarks against the Organisation. 
The case came up for hearing today at the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had asked Rahul Gandhi to either apologize or face trial for his remarks against RSS. Rahul Gandhi should not have resorted to collective denunciation of RSS, said Supreme Court.
Supreme Court observed, “Case must be decided on merits, whether what you spoke was for public good or not. You can’t make wholesale denunciation of an Organisation. Purpose of law is not to turn citizens into litigants, history is the biggest enemy of privacy.”
Supreme Court has given time time till July 27th to Rahul Gandhi to detail his arguments. 

Congress had been
consistently trying to spread lies and baseless allegations about RSS.
Today’s Supreme Court ruling has exposed the Congress. Dr Vaidya, RSS Akhila Bharatiya Prachar Pramuk.
