Nationwide protest demonstrations by RSS on 24
Mumbai, January 22, 2013:
Strongly condemning the remarks of Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde,
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Tuesday appealed to the people to
participate in the nationwide protest demonstrations on January 24.
Home Minister who had said in Congress’ Chintan Shivir at Jaipur on
January 20 that “training camps of RSS and BJP are terrorist training
camp”, as totally false, baseless, irresponsible and politically
motivated, the RSS refuted and condemned the highly deplorable
allegations of the Congress leader.
Dr Manmohan Vaidya, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS took serious
objection to the use of ‘Hindu terrorism or saffron terrorism’ stating
that by using these terms the Home Minsiter and the Congress party have
gravely insulted the entire Hindu society which has a global reputation
of leaving in peace and harmony with others. By using ‘saffron
terrorism’ the Home Minster has insulted the grately revered ‘sanyasi
tradition’ of Bharat, the statement said.

statements by the Union Home Minister has not only boosted the morale of
the Pak-sponsored terrorists but also unfortunately demoralized our own
security men, and thereby weakened our fight against terrorism at the
international level. The RSS takes strong exception to this blunder
committed by of the Home Minister.
While the investigation of
some of the terror acts is in progress the conclusion of which is still
awaited, the misleading statement of the Home Minister is a politically
motivated conspiracy to influence the very process of investigation.
This is extremely objectionable that deserves to be condemned by all.
The
Home Minister’s statement has deeply hurt the feelings of millions of
countrymen. RSS, therefore, appeals to all the people of the nation to
actively participate in the country wide demonstrations called on 24 th
January to protest against the unpatriotic stance of the Home Minister
and create pressure on him and the Congress Party to apologize for their
lapse.
