Recent heavy rains lashed Chennai city throwing normal life out of gear. City saw severe water logging and people wading through knee deep water. Swayamsevaks in their respective areas carried on the relief activities needed accordingly.
In Villiwakkam, Annai Satya Nagar, food were distributed to the public.Swayamsevaks along with Shri Dharmalingam, Sampark Pramuk and Shri Ramarajasekar, Prant Seva Pramuk, participated in the relief activity.
Swayamsevaks under the guidance of Bhag Karyavah Shri Suresh carried on the relief activity at MKB Nagar Vyasarpadi, North Chennai. They cleared the street lamp post which was fallen down and blocked the main road, thus helping in clearing the traffic. Food and relief materials were also distributed.
