Shri Tarun Vijay created a history by presenting a portrait of Thiruvalluvar to the French National Assembly (Parliament). The Chairman, France-India Parliamentary Group in Paris received the portrait and appreciated the humanitarian message of the great Tamil Poet. Shri Tarun Vijay was accompanied by Shri Sarjeet Soodan, Joint Secretary in the Indian Embassy and local Tamil Scholars. ‘It is a great moment that the French National Assembly, a place of inspiration for the Indian freedom fighters for the messages of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity received the portrait of Thiruvalluvar, which is a historic day for me’, said Shri Tarun Vijay.
