Ambedkar – a great Hindu leader

To commemorate Dr.
Bhimarao Ambedkar on his Birth Anniversary,  a function was
organized by Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samiti in Shakthi Karyalaya, Chennai. 
Shri K Venkatraman, Senior Justice, Madras High Court (Retd) presided over the
function. 

Highlighting the
important works of Dr. Ambedkar on Caste discrimination and maintaining social
harmony, he said that RSS which is working for this cause is badly projected by
some section of people, which we should strive to take the correct
message.  Shri Anandaraj, Ph.D, General Secretary, Arundathiyar Sevai
Maiyam in his speech said he was happy to be the part of this association and
feeling pride to be part of this celebrations.  He further highlighted the
role of Ambedkar in bringing social harmony. 

Shri Bakthavatsalam,
Organiser, Hindu Munnani, in his special address highlighted how Dr. Bhimarao
Ambedkar was a great Hindu leader.  Explaining through small anecdotes,
Shri Bakthan threw light on caste discrimination, untouchability etc. faced by
Dr. Ambedkar right from his childhood and how he fought against all evils at
various dimensions. He further highlighted on how RSS works to bring social
harmony which Dr. Ambedkar dreamt. 

Justice Kanakaraj, Shri
Sethu Madhavan, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Jagran Pramuk, Dr. M L Raja, RSS Prant
Sanghachalak and  other Sangh Adhikaris were present.

A book titled “Acharyar
Ramanujarum Annal Ambedkarum” highlighting the works of Shri Ramanujar and Dr.
Ambedkar was also released in the function.
Shri Muthukrishnan,
Mahanagar Sampark Pramuk,  co-ordinated the event.
