Pratham Varsha Sangha Siksha Varga 2011 of Uttar Tamilnadu was inaugurated on 17th April at Sankara Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Sankar nagar, Pammal, Chennai with a total siksharthi sankhya of 202.
Siksharthis were across different age groups and there were good representation from all 6 vibhags, with Chennai Vibhag having more participants in this 20day camp.
Pammal Sankara school principal Smt. Malathi Balakrishnan lighted the Kuthuvilakku (Lamp), offered flowers to Bharata Mata and inaugurated the varga. Dr. Gopalan, Secretary of the school was also on the dais. Varga adhikari Shri. K.Ponramanji M.A. M.ed., Prantha saha-karyavah Shri.S. Sambamurthy were on dais. Shri. P. Prakashji varga karyavah welcomed and introduced the adhikaris.
Prantha saha-boudhik pramukh Shri. T.S. Ravikumarji gave the inaugural boudhik highlighting the importance and purpose of the 20 days training. Reception committee members and local residents surrounding the school attended the program. Varga prabhandaks were all introduced to the swayamsevaks.
