Samskrita Bharati of Chennai organises ‘Balotsav’

UNESCO and the Government of India has jointly announced ‘Shravana
Poornima Day’ as ‘World Sanskrit Day’.

Swami Vivekananda was teaching Samskrit before attaining
Samadhi. To rejuvenate the culture and rebuild the nation, Swami Vivekananda
encouraged to spread the samskrit. To commemorate Swami Vivekananda 150th
year celebrations and ‘Samskrita Dinam’, Samskrita Bharati of Chennai and ‘The
Sanskrit Department of D G Vaishnav College 
has organized ‘Balotsavah’ an exhibition and cultural events at D G
Vaishanav College on 24th and 25th of August, 2013.
