RSS & Sevabharathi Tamilnadu Volunteers have been working round the clock to mobilize tonnes of relief materials like Water Bottles, Food items, Biscuits, Emergency Medicines, new Clothes, Rice Bags, Cereals, cleaning materials etc over the last 10 days. 
As on 22nd August 2018, we have despatched a total of 29 TRUCKS to Palakkad, Kerala. Out of this, 18 trucks were despatched from Chennai centres and the remaining from Northern Parts of Tamilnadu – Erode (1 Lorry) Namakkal (4 lorries), Salem (3 Lorries) Dharmapuri (1 Lorry) Hosur (1 Lorry) In total, about 200 tonnes of relief materials have been despatched. 
This includes 1 Lakh Water Bottles, 70 tonnes of Rice bags and provisions, 15 tonnes of Biscuit packets, Milk Powder 2770 Kgs. 5 tonnes of Vegetables, 15 tonnes of Bleaching powder, 5 tonnes of Phenyl and sanitary items, Rs.5 lakhs worth of medicines Rs. 20 Lakhs worth of new clothes and bedsheets. 
In Kerala, about 85,000 Sevabharathi volunteers (including 20,000 women) are serving in 3965 Relief camps, out of which 150 are being directly maintained by us. Three major warehouses are functioning presently at Trivandrum, Kasargod & Palakkad regions apart from district wise sub-centres to carry out relief activities. 
About 150 boats, 70 ambulances and 300 vehicles have deployed till date for relief and rescue activities. Through this, more than 75,000 lives have been saved. 
More than 1 lakh volunteers are presently engaged in sanitation works in affected areas.

Devotees of Kanchi Mutt, Sastra University, Sath Sangam, Green Grid Corporation, Chennai Rajasthani Business community, RYA Madras Metro Trust-Chennai Food Bank, Rajasthani Association Tamilnadu, Sri Shridi Saibaba Charitable Trust, Chennai Vilampatti Nadar Uravinmurai Kalvi Valarchi Sangham, Zoho Corporation Pvt Ltd-Guduvancherry, Triveni Foundations, Salem, Sriram Finance, Chennai Goods Transport Association, Mahameru Trust, Triveni Foundtion, Salem, IBM-DLF Porur, Indian Oil Corporation-North Chennai Retail Sales centre, Rotary Club, Namakkal, Rotary Club of Chennai Pinnacle, Vivekananda Vidyalaya Schools Chennai and Vidya Mandir Schools, Salem and many others.
