New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) said the Allahabad High Court verdict on Ayodhya should not be seen as anybody’s victory or defeat.
“It is not a question of victory or defeat for anyone,” RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said. “It is an opportunity to forge national unity.”
Mohan Bhagwat said the judgement has paved the way for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Mohan Bhagwat appealed for peace and harmony, said this is not a moment to celebrate.
“Everyone should cooperate in building the temple,” he said. “It is time to forget the bitterness and acrimony of the past.”
