Today is 28th Martyr’s day of RSS Chennai Karyalaya Bomb blast held on 8 August 1993. Sangh Adhikaris and karyakarthas paid floral tributes to all the 11 killed in the blast.
In a message Shri Datta Hosabale Ji recalled his mind on the bomb blast of Shakti karyalay in Chennai. “That was on 8 Aug 1993; I distinctly remember that I was attending the wedding of an ABVP karyakarta at Mysore, and the shocking news of Chennai came. The sudden reaction was that T. Nadu is going Kashmir way!
Pujya Balasaheb Deorasji’s visit was not only a consoling incident but also an inspiring and confidence-building event! So many years have passed. We all know the current situation. At this juncture, I gratefully recall the martyrdom of our Karyakartas of Tamil Nadu and pay my respectful homage to all of them. Their supreme sacrifice will ever inspire the swayamsevaks to shoulder the noble task of the nation. My pranams to all adhikaris and Karyakartas.
Today I remember the fateful day and pay my homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives at the altar of Mother Bharat.
