Shakthi Sangamam at Sakthi Karyalaya, Chennai

RSS Chennai organized “Sakthi Sangamam” an yearly informal gathering of families of swayamsevkas at ‘Sakthi Karyalaya’ on 17.2.2019. Around 900 men, women and children had a chit-chat with Akhila Bharatha, Prantha/Kshetra Adhikaris. 
Colourful Rangolis within the Karyalaya and outside gave a pleasant festive look. Traditional games like pallankuzhi, paramapadam, ammanai etc. kindled the enthusiasm among visitors. Patti Vaidhiyam (traditional medical advice) had a great impact among the visitors. Display and demo by young students on the concept of Hinduism and Science was well received by the visitors. Games to youth attracted many. Quiz kindled the forgotten facts. Chit-Chat with adhikaris made the day memorable. Charcha on current topics brought clarity to the visitors. Ghosh vaadhan enthused the audience. 
A common arrangement was also made for the dinner and a ‘traditional thamboola bag’ for the families leaving karyalaya. Shri Jagdish Prasad, Akhil Bharatiya Shareerik Pramuk, Shri Vanniyarajan, Kshetra Sanghachalak, Shri Stanumaalayan Kshetra Pracharak, Shri La Ganesan, Senior leader, BJP and Prant Adhikaris were present. Shri Vanniyarajan Ji insisted on family values and the contribution for a united Hindu society.
