Swadeshi Jagaran Manch National Convention ahead

Swadeshi
Jagaran Manch (SJM), Odisha is organising its national convention at KIIT
University from December 26 to 28, 2014. More than 1000 members of SJM from
different States of the country would participate in the convention, which is
scheduled to be inaugurated at KIIT University in Campus-6 Auditorium on
December 26 at 11 am. On December 27, a rally “Swadeshi Sandesh Yatra” will be
taken out in the afternoon. The valedictory session of the convention will be
held on December 28 at 12 pm.

Addressing
a press conference here, national convenor of SJM Arun Ojha highlighted that in
order to make the programme successful, a welcome committee has been formed by
the participation of eminent personalities from different parts of the State.
Chartered Engineer Abhay Kumar Samantaray is the chairman and Odisha Rajya
Byabasayi Mahasangha Secretary Sudhakar Panda is the Secretary of this
committee. The programme will be held under the supervision of SJM State
Coordinator Prabhat Kumar Palit and Akhila Bharatiya Sangharsh Bahini Chief
Anada Shankar Panigrahi. The Byabastha Sanjojak of this Program is Dr Dhirendra
Nanda, Byabastha Pramukha is Niranjan Mishra & Byabastha Sahapramukha is
Nirmal Sarangi, During the convention, various issues relating to present
status of Indian economy and other issues will be discussed and the outcomes in
form of recommendations and suggestions will be submitted to the Central
Government.  
For
spreading awareness among the masses about the importance of Swadeshi as a way
of life and to fight against globalisation and multinationals, SJM was formed
in 1991, which is working in the field of economic nationalism.
